📜 Tour Program
🚌 Your Luxor & Valley of the Kings tour from Marsa Alam begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel between 02:00 and 04:00. During the journey, there will be a short stop where you can buy breakfast, drinks, and use the restroom.
🏛️ Upon arrival in Luxor, you’ll meet your English-speaking Egyptologist guide, who will begin the tour with a visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple—the largest religious complex ever built. Constructed over nearly 2,000 years by successive pharaohs, Karnak is famous for its towering columns, monumental statues, and the breathtaking Great Hypostyle Hall.
🍽️ After exploring Karnak, enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. (Drinks are not included.)
🚤 Next, you’ll drive to Luxor’s west bank, where you’ll stop at the legendary Colossi of Memnon—two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for more than 3,000 years.
👑 The highlight of the day is a visit to the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the royal burial site of Egypt’s pharaohs. You’ll enter three beautifully decorated tombs, selected by your guide, and discover the fascinating beliefs and burial traditions of ancient Egypt. This is also the valley where the tomb of Tutankhamun was discovered by Howard Carter in 1922.
🏛️ Continue to the spectacular Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s most remarkable architectural masterpieces. Built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, this unique temple honours the only woman to rule Egypt as pharaoh.
🪨 Before leaving Luxor, you’ll visit a traditional alabaster workshop, where local craftsmen will demonstrate how beautiful handmade souvenirs are created using ancient techniques.
🚌 After an unforgettable day exploring the treasures of ancient Egypt, you’ll return to Marsa Alam at approximately 23:00.
