The Colorful Canyon Salama and Dahab tour from Sharm El Sheikh is one of the most amazing natural wonders on the Sinai Peninsula. Located about 150 km from Sharm El Sheikh, near the St. Catherine Monastery and the town of Nuweiba, the Color Canyon Salama is a striking geological formation, likely created by an earthquake. It’s a natural cleft in the sandstone cliffs, a preserved remnant of an ancient seabed.

Over centuries, wind and water carved deep patterns into the red sandstone. On this tour, guided by an expert from Nile Voyage, you’ll walk through narrow passages, sometimes beneath overhanging rocks. For maximum enjoyment, we recommend wearing comfortable sportswear and sturdy shoes suitable for hiking and rocky terrain.

This tour also includes camel riding, swimming in Dahab, and visiting the vibrant town of Dahab.

Tour Program:

Your Color Canyon Salama and Dahab adventure begins with hotel pickup in Sharm El Sheikh between 7:30 and 8:30 AM (depending on your hotel location). You’ll travel by air-conditioned bus through the scenic Sinai Mountains—approximately a 1.5-hour drive.

A stop will be made en route for panoramic views and photo opportunities.

On arrival in Dahab, you’ll transfer to 4×4 jeeps for a 20-minute ride into the mountains, leading to Color Canyon Salama.

During the hike, you’ll witness a rainbow of colors in the rocks—mainly shades of brown, red, and sandy tones—with beautiful mineral patterns and formations carved by nature.

Next, enjoy a 20-minute camel ride along the seafront, followed by snorkeling in the famous Three Pools reef area in Dahab, home to stunning coral gardens and exotic marine species. (Note: Snorkeling gear rental is not included. Wearing a life jacket is mandatory for safety.)

Afterward, lunch will be served at a restaurant or beach cafe in Dahab (drinks are not included in the price).

Your final stop is a visit to the Dahab market for local souvenirs. The return transfer to your hotel is at approximately 5:00 PM.

Wycieczka dwa razy tańsza niż od rezydenta. Przyjechali po nas do hotelu, do Makadi. Choć rezydent straszył, że tylko ich wycieczki sa ubezpieczone i mogą wjechac do resortu. Delfiny widzieliśmy, nawet z nimi pływaliśmy. Lunch na statku. Potem pływanie na kanapie (fajne, adrenalina wzrosła). Od razu powrót do hotelu – samochód już czekał. Obsługa po angielsku. Super przeżycie. Polecam!

Отдыхали компанией в Сафаге. Покупали 2 тура в Nile Voyage:

1. Оранжевый остров в Хургаде – Оранжевая бухта. С отеля нас забрали к назначенному времени. Была доплата за трансфер, т.к отель находился в часе езды от Хургады.

2. Золотой Луксор с посещением долины царей из Хургады + остров. Мы ездили на комфортном транспорте с кондиционером. Был русскоговорящий гид, очень интересно рассказывал.

Как итог: нам всё очень понравилось, всё соответствует описанию. Буду рекомендовать знакомым и обязательно ещё воспользуюсь данным сайтом. Спасибо!

Strach ma wielkie oczy. Rezydent wychwalając swoje roztoczył wizję nielegalnych wycieczek od lokalnych biur. Zdecydowaliśmy się jednak na Nile, i było warto. Wszystko przebiegło bez najmniejszego problemu, program zmienialiśmy na miejscu, perfumerie i papirusy nas nie interesowały. Przewodnik polsko jezyczny wsiadł dopiero w Kairze, z kierowcą komunikacja po angielsku. W Kairze wszystko bez problemów.

Od razu uprzedzać, prywatną wycieczka z Hurgady do Kairu to łącznie 12h w samochodzie, wyjazd o 1.30, powrót koło 23.00

Sama wycieczka bardzo konkurencyjna cenowo 130$ vs 85$.

Nie ma się co bać, brać.
