📜 Tour Program
🚌 Your Cairo Tour from Marsa Alam begins with hotel pickup between 21:30 and 01:00, depending on your hotel location. The journey to Cairo takes approximately 8 hours, with a short stop along the way where you can buy snacks, drinks, and use the restroom.
🏛️ Upon arrival in Cairo, you’ll meet your English-speaking Egyptologist guide and begin your adventure at the world-famous Egyptian Museum. Explore one of the largest collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts, featuring thousands of statues, sarcophagi, jewelry, and priceless treasures spanning over 5,000 years of history. The Royal Mummies are now displayed at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), not at the Egyptian Museum.
🍽️ After the museum visit, enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Giza. (Drinks are not included.)
🔺 Next, head to the legendary Giza Plateau to discover the magnificent Pyramids of Giza—the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), the Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren), and the Pyramid of Menkaure (Mykerinos). If time allows, you may also purchase an optional ticket to explore the inside of one of the pyramids.
🦁 Continue to the iconic Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, where you’ll learn about the fascinating history and mysteries of ancient Egypt.
🛍️ If time permits, you’ll also visit a papyrus institute and a perfume factory, where you can discover traditional Egyptian craftsmanship and shop for authentic souvenirs.
🚌 After an unforgettable day exploring Egypt’s most famous landmarks, you’ll return to Marsa Alam, arriving at your hotel at approximately 23:00–01:00.
